Anna Bickerdyke (Liverpool), Chris Lovejoy, Hari Jeyabelen and Mycroft Halliwell-Ewan (Cambridge) and I
went on a weekend Safari to the Pilanesberg. We were lucky to have lionesses roaring just next to the car. Buffalo were spotted, which is a rare find as the a large herd resides in areas of the park not traveled by car. Brown Hyena was a good spot as well. The weather was very cold, but the enthusiasm surely made up for that.
